Mike Vining is a retired United States Army Special Forces soldier, explosives expert, and inventor.
He served in the Vietnam War and was a member of the elite 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (1st SFOD-D), commonly known as Delta Force.
Vining is renowned for his skills in explosives and demolition, often called upon to develop specialized tools and techniques.
One of his most notable inventions is the "Mouse Hole", a compact breaching charge used to quickly create entry points through walls and doors. This device significantly improved the operational capabilities of Delta Force and other special operations units.
He has received numerous awards and recognitions for his contributions to the United States Army and the special operations community.
Since retiring from the military, Vining has worked as a consultant, sharing his expertise in explosives and security with various organizations.
